• The audio or video files you upload for transcription, along with any notes you provide about them.
• Payment information processed through Paystack. Apex Transcript does not directly store your card details — they are handled by Paystack under its own security standards.
• Basic technical information (such as browser type and general location) collected automatically for site functionality and security.

How we use your information

• To transcribe your file and deliver the completed document.
• To communicate with you about your order, quote, or a question you've submitted.
• To process payment for services rendered.
• To improve this website and our internal process. Your audio or transcript content itself is never used for this purpose — see our Security & Confidentiality page for specifics.

File retention and deletion

Uploaded audio files and completed transcripts are retained for 30 days after delivery to allow for revision requests, then permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion or an extended retention period at any time by contacting us directly.

Who we share information with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or file content to any third party. Limited information is shared only with the service providers required to operate — for example, Paystack for payment processing — and only to the extent necessary for that service to function.

Cookies

This site may use minimal, functional cookies necessary for the site to work correctly. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
